Damascus Steel Blade

This handsome new knife has never been used or re-sharpened, and comes with a Limited Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty. It is 3 1/2 inches long(folded/closed) and weighs approximately 2.6 ounces. The blades are Damascus Steel. Damascus blades are made by welding/forging together a few hundred layers of hard and soft steel and then etch with acid. The acid dissolves the layers at different rates resulting in a visible pattern on the steel. The alternating layers give more flexibility and toughness to the steel, and the hard and soft in the edge act much like serrations and aid cutting. The beautiful patterns in Damascus blades are unmatched! The handle is Genuine Deer Stag with a Hen & Rooster Inlay Shield. The bolsters are Nickel Silver.
